Tarot Cards Used: The Wandering Moon Tarot Deck
We have now entered Aquarius season, the sign of the water bearer, which is reflected back to us in this week’s reading with so many cup cards emerging to the surface. Aquarius season brings with it the courage to pave your own path, embrace all of your quarks (what makes you different), the ability to think outside the box and to be okay with possibly being misunderstood. This is the energy of letting all else fall to the wayside and be bold with being authentically YOU. With no retrograde in sight until April 21st, we can expect smoother waters from here until spring (insert happy dance here)! Although without much debris to hold up the flow, this means we are entering a time of high speed: quick thinking, lots of action, on the move. With this being said, we need to be cognizant of grounding our energy as we can easily become swept up in the current of life, making hasty decisions that might not be the best for our future. When faced with decision making, try your best to pull back a bit and check in with yourself before committing to anything in the near future (say summer months). Really ask yourself if this aligns with your goals or will it possibly interfere with your vision?
As we push forward, we feel the tension lifted from the prior turbulent past months and we may find ourselves wanting to break free and socialize, meet new people. With the Queen of Moons (Queen of Cups) and Three of Moons (Three of Cups) this could be a sign that it’s time to balance your life more with love and friendship. Or possibly the Queen of Moons could be trying to tell you that she is who you need to become in order to effect the kind of changes you would like to see in your life. We are breaking free from old patterns, so there might be someone in your environment that will mirror these qualities back to you, but ultimately you have your own external influence over your life.
The Tower card and Five of Moons (Five of Cups) signify massive change, possibly an awakening of sorts, much like a metamorphosis: leaving behind patterns that no longer serve you. With this, there may be fear around leaving behind the old and familiar. This is always a bit rattling and can cause us to focus too heavily on what has been lost. But remember, you are aligning with your higher purpose, shedding old skin to grow and blossom into something beautiful. Focus on what you do have and be hopeful for what opportunities are brimming just under the surface. If we stay focused on the old, the new will never be able to emerge and our ability to swim in its shimmery waters will be dimmed by our inability to let go of the past or to reach beyond our comfort zone.
The Ten of Stars (Ten of Pentacles) and Page of Moons (Page of Cups) speaks of just this, new opportunities that aren’t just fleeting, this speaks to the possibility of long term success or uncovering your true purpose. With the Page of Moons, this may be an unexpected surprise opportunity, one that would have never bubbled to the top if we didn’t make room for it! This alone should be the encouragement you need to push past the hurt, the fear of being seen or the biggest fear of all: failure. Be your own cheerleader, you deserve to shine and whatever flaws you are hung up on, this is what makes you shine even brighter. Try not to allow others’ opinions sway you from your vision. We each bring something different to the table, each of us has lived through experiences that have molded and shaped who we are and others need to hear your message.
I don’t know about you, but I am ready to go with the flow of life, to ride on the current and be completely open to trusting whatever the Universe has for me (US) this New Year! Keep positive, be vibrant and different, it’s time to celebrate a new you.

I’m Carla Coons, an avid lover of crystals and anything involving astrology. I’m also a huge admirer of the beautiful outdoors. Tarot discovered me in a time when I needed it most and has become my comfort. It is the bridge that connects me to my intuition and to the Universe, bringing me peace in these crazy times. My goal with the collective readings is to reach those who need this same peace in their lives. A lifeline from my heart to yours. These readings are for you, the audience, but I too receive clarity, peace and a time to reflect, which are all such priceless gifts. I am so grateful to be here. Thank you!
