Tarot Cards Used: The Wandering Moon Tarot Deck

The message this week seems to ooze with comfort, love and gratitude. The holiday season always brings with it a sense of magic and anticipation.  However we can tend to lose claim of this feeling by over extending ourselves, stressing over monetary expenses and forgetting to see the magic in the simple things like the first snowfall, the way a warm mug in your hand feels so much more comforting in the cooler months or even just holiday colors in festive storefront windows bringing cheer within. Some may gather with family around homemade delights or some may carry out a more quiet tradition amongst a few to celebrate thankfulness. Sometimes it is the simple luxuries of life that truly last a lifetime. The King of Cups and the Ten of Pentacles speak to just that, a celebration of deep gratitude of what we have and what we feel secure in; love, health, family and friends.

As life has its ups and downs, this is a reminder to find the silver lining. When our world may feel chaotic, we can look to the King of Cups to remind ourselves that we are the true keeper of our emotions. We can ask ourselves in that moment, what helps me to stay calm and in control of my emotions?

When the Empress appears, it asks us to take a moment to reflect on the bounty that surrounds you and offer gratitude for all you have created so you can continue to build on this energy and create even more abundance in your life! She urges us to really look around and find the beauty that not only might be found in material possessions, but within ourselves as well as the gifts that Mother Nature has blessed us with (the blazing sunsets, the trickle of a stream, and the hoot of an owl to name a few). There is so much abundance around us; I know I have taken these free gems for granted at times.

All three of these cards hold so much positivity as we move into the next week!! Until next time….

I am sending each much love, light and peace,

Carla
