Thanksgiving Dinner & Weekend Retreat at The Abode of the Message, New Lebanon, NY

Come celebrate the Abundance of Community in this, the Annual Thanksgiving Feast.

This is an epic Abode tradition with many hands making for an exciting gathering to celebrate bounty, abundance, and the joy of togetherness.

Guests are asked to bring a dessert to share as well as a donation for the food pantry.

The Weekend Will Begin on Thursday with a Traditional Abode Community Thanksgiving Dinner~

Over the weekend we will have space set up for contemplation, art and craft activities, as well as Dances of Universal Peace, and Zikr. The beauty of Autumn at the Abode offers time for rest and renewal, as we attune to this season of gratitude.

Thanksgiving Weekend Schedule

Thursday: 1:00pm gather for dinner. Help wet up, great friends and help us collect non perishables for the local food pantry. Dinner is served at 2pm. Following the meal there will be cleanup, a short session of DUP, and dessert. We’ll have community games in the library in the evening.

Friday: 9:00am Restorative Yoga, 10:30 self serve breakfast, 2:00 Kirtan, 6:00 dinner, 7:30 DUP

Saturday: 9:00 Restorative Yoga, 10:30 self serve breakfast, 2:00 DUP, 6:00 dinner, 7:30 drum circle, bonfire, and storytelling, star gazing

Sunday: 8:30 breakfast, 11:00 Universal Worship, 12:15 brunch

All day: pop-up craft projects, walks in nature, puzzles, relaxation, and more

*NOTE an overnight Stay on Thursday the 23rd includes Thanksgiving Dinner
