Homeschooling is here to stay.

Nationwide, the number of homeschooled students has tripled since the start of the pandemic. Here in the Berkshires and Hudson Valley, more and more parents are opening up to the possibility and deciding to homeschool. The results? Empowered parents seeing firsthand how their kids are newly motivated, curious, and truly excited about learning. Have you thought about homeschooling but are unsure what steps are needed to pull your kids out of the school system?

Join us on Tuesday, July 26th for our inaugural workshop where parents can hear stories of successfully homeschooled individuals and gain firsthand knowledge from a parent who has homeschooled her children, now grown and all college educated. We’ll discuss your options, share stories and concerns, support your decisions – whatever direction you decide to go – and give you suggestions how to navigate the system. All followed by delicious dinner, sitting together streamside at our 200 year old Shaker Inn.

We hope to see you there!

About the venue: The Inn at Shaker Mill Falls, home to the Center for Regenerative Ecology, Education & Enterprise Development, is an 18-room inn and nonprofit retreat center operated out of a historic, repurposed gristmill built by the local Shaker Mt. Lebanon community in 1824. In addition to general hospitality, we offer customized group accommodations, program and event space, and streamside food service based around our own organic, vegetable gardens.
