Add olive oil to pot. Throw in onions, carrots and celery. Cook 8-10 min to soften, then add in ground beef and pork, stir, and cook until meat is brown. Add in marinara sauce and crushed tomatoes.
Stir and bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a slow simmer.
After about 45 minutes or to your liking, add the half and half, or heavy cream
Cook for another 15-20 minutes
Add your cooked pasta, and salt and pepper to liking and top with Parmigiana
