Tarot Cards Used: Ethereal Vision Illuminated Tarot Deck – Matt Hughes

What is an end is also a new beginning…

In this week’s message, the cards speak of nearing the completion of a journey. One that is taking  place within ourselves wrapped around what our beliefs are or once were, as well as what fuels our inspiration, where we want to be, create or go. The number 9, as seen in the Nine of Swords and Nine of Wands, depicts that we are nearing the end of a journey and the World is waiting just beyond the finish line to celebrate reaching our final destination. This energy of completion is driven by the watery Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac, it encompasses all other signs and it carries the wisdom of the all 12 archetypes within itself. This new moon in Pisces is a bit different than other New Moons, it is mixed with beginnings and endings, so we are preparing for something new and we are also preparing to leave something behind. This phase can be very transcendent and transformational.

As you can see, the woman in the Nine of Swords looks to be consumed with fear and anxiety, her thoughts have taken over and she can’t seem to shake them. The sword cards are all about our thoughts and rational mind. Naturally when we are on the brink of change, releasing old thought patterns, the fear of not knowing what our future will look like if we take this new path can have us waking up at night, panicking, thinking of all the different scenarios that could go wrong.

Equally, in the Nine of Wands, the man looks to be a bit beat up, exhausted and possibly losing hope. The wands portray our passion and inspiration. The energy of the wands is quite literally the fire within us, when we allow ourselves to be fully immersed in creating a dream or goal; we can easily forget the world around us or our own vital needs. Trying to force our dreams into reality can be what derails because we are exhausted both mentally and spiritually.

The Ace of Cups and Pisces energy urges us to go with the flow. We need to find balance and allow ourselves to be still, to float along the darkness and allow the universe to take us where we need to be. We have planted the seeds, no we are asked to surrender our thoughts and the need to be in action. We are trying to manipulate the external world so that we can have and find that inner peace, but the external world will never give us peace, it is a specifically designed system or Matrix that will always comes up with something that disturbs us so that we can grow and learn, so that we can be challenged and tested and put into new situations where we have to prove ourselves until we realize that we really don’t have anything to prove to anyone. Inner peace can only be found within, allowing and trusting our own intuition and the divine to guide us.

The Tower card, as the overall hidden message, is a sign that change is inevitable. Trying to control the outcome or trying to foresee what the future may hold is an uphill battle. The real lesson here is to bring into balance mind, body and spirit. Lean into the quiet soft energy of Pisces. Take this time to be still and trust the journey, trust that you aren’t going to lose anything by stepping back and loosening the grip. Have a rest, press the pause button, you’re never going to run out of an opportunity that was designed for you, you’re not going to lose any chances, that’s not how the universe works. It is not working against you, the universe is working for you and the more you that you are that makes it to the finish line (the more vital happy and loving you) well that’s the victory even more than crossing the finish line.

Wishing all much love, peace and rest ~
